  Gary Brown sang contemporary Christian music when he was young. During that time Gary was an alter boy.

Gary also won Wolf Fest two years in a row in 1998 and 1999. Wolf Fest is a major national competition in the fine arts held in Wolfeboro, NH. It includes quartets, violin, and other horns. It also includes singers, sopranos, and Gary sang with this. Gary Brown’s mom was involved in this as his coach. She had gone to study voice at Julliard School in the fields of music, dance and drama.
